Le Blanc

Isn't it a nice place? Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful details at every corner. Artmatch Group had the dinner gathering right after the opening of the 12th annual exhibition at HKVAC on 25th March 2007. Ah, by the way, Le Blanc is at 6/F, 83 Wan Chai Road, Hong Kong, Telephone: (852)34285824.

See the beauty from the heart

When I am in the mood, beautiful things are everywhere.

Blue sky in a blue day

I escaped office early because of the low pressure atmosphere of crazy hectic work. And for the sake that Maria, an old friend in museum of art, has her first gallery talk as AC(I) HP. Thanx to her, I met the clear evening sky. Of course, I'm really glad to see her again after years. She is the same glamourous, gently-speaking lady I know in day one, and I can't forget her heart-melting smile in seeing me.

Katherine is a Form Fiver!

Katherine is a very lovely and good girl. She is one of the most beloved kids of Yoyo and me. In fact, it's Yoyo mama and auntie Jennifer~

Guess where we've been?

A pub with banknotes all over the world, and signed by people, then stuck on the walls and ceiling!

A Wednesday night at Stanley

I can't believe it! We sneak out to do something dìfferent in the middle of a hectic week.

Souvenirs of MYC 40th Anniversary

On the first sight of this set of items, I love them immediately! They are not exaggerated but in great harmony! Very fresh and nice.

Dinner at Fu Kee Restaurant

In these few days, I suddenly have the idea of getting a SL-D for myself. By chance, Samuel helped me in finding the right one at Wing Shing.
Then we had a nice dinner at a restaurant with the same name of an old restaurant in the old time. Pity that it is not the same. The old one served congee but this one serves Shanghai dishes. They are not bad. See, green green vegetables!

Second session with FFTS kids

Today is not really smooth. I can't find the suitable player for music CD or the MP3. More kids joined making a class of 16. A girl cried and another girl lost temper and sat there for 50 min. Luckily, new kids are lovely. I firstly attempt the close-eye exercise and most of them participated completely.
However, I can't them next week as we are going to have Artmatch Group Exhibition 2007~

Grayish Sunday

I'm not very happy with this weekend. Got to work whole day on Saturday, this week and next week. It's really tiring and of little fun. At the same time, there are lots of work to be completed.
Today, I went to the first session of the voluntary teaching at the FFTS, as shown in the photo, the kids are lovely and eager to make art. Indeed, we had a very happy lesson in the afternoon. And I got to thanks Irene to arrange a very spacious visual art room for this new module. After that, I purchased a box set of chinese font face at mongkok. After completing the transaction, the salesman asked me a funny question, 'are you a lecturer in the university?'. Huh, pretty funny, am I looking old or just because only academic people will buy the original fontface box set, instead of using pirated version? I really can't comment on his question!

Metal in the microwave

In such a grayish day, I found an aluminium cup for making soft and hard boiled eggs, for microwave! My goodness! Totally out of my understanding! I stayed away from the microwave the first I made a soft boiled with it, wondering if it might explode. Of course, no accident took place except the lovely egg. :-P

Bottles of wine in a Saturday Evening

In a saturday evening, numbers of red wine opened can be a lot!

Terry with a bottle of Portugal Dao red wine in 1985

Every Saturday, we have a gathering with painting friends. Some friends brought excellent red wines all over the world. For example, Terry is holding a 85 Portugal Dào from Eileen. The wine is so mature that it needs hours to air. Let's cheers! Wines are too old to be waited.

Josephine & Gaylord

My painting teacher Gaylord, and his wife, are very nice and caring persons. We share a lot of view and experience in art and life.
We had a nice dinner at Festival Walk after retrieving the works of Artmatch Group. In fact, they had dinner at the same place a day before after Gaylord had attended a live interview at RTHK Radio 2.

Me after a tiring day but happy evening

It's been time not chatting with Eileen in such a light-hearted way. It's so relaxed as I no longer expect anything. Lives aren't easy but so what? Life goes on.
