Me in Miao dress

Guys are looking forwarding for the photos of me in Miao dress taken by my friend in the trip. Please don't scream in horror! I only think these beautiful dresses are solely for Miao, too!

Thanks to Mrs Liu, she helped me to dress up all these complicated dress in minutes!

Suni Csak Foto

A very simple blog of a lot of beautiful photographs.

Purple, green and red

I found this motorbike near my office, a very old style bike but the colours are stunning! They are so bright that bring me much excitement in this lot-of-work-and-boring-hot summer.

Dessert wine at €4

My painting friends were back from their art tour from Europe for 3 weeks already, but moods are still on the go.

There are plenty of photographs and videos for sharing, not only about the trip but also a lot of in-depth discussion sessions held after their visits to exhibition every day, and usually did not end till mid-night. Last Saturday night, a lot of established artist friends visited Gayload's studio for the treasure mentioned.

I enjoyed the wine while they were viewing the long video on discussion conceptual art and presentation of artforms. This bottle of dessert wine was great at taste, great at packaging and even great at price! Kiki said they found the last three on the shelf in the supermarket opposite to Movenpick in Kassel. Of course, they had the first two in their hotel rooms! I could only taste the last 25 ml when I arrived at the gathering late at 00.15. But it was really good!

Avril Lavinge in Concert at HK again

Thanks to my friend, I find it interesting to visit rock-n-roll concert of artist/performer like this Canadian girl. Last time when Avril was in HK, she held her concert at HK Conventional Centre and excited fans found it rather inconvenient to stand on the seat to view their idol. This time, organiser was smarter, going to a bigger venue (HK Asian Arena near HK International Airport) and sold lots of expensive standing tickets to people like us. Avril is still a very good performer on her own style of rock-n-roll, adding a lot of stage fun like dancers and hand-shaking time, but played on guitar on her own for only one song (fewer than last time, and everybody knows she can play guitar but not as good as her team of marvellous musicians).

The only pity was that I missed the guest performance before Avril was really on stage by 21.00. I think these guest performers did even better than Avril, as they are still in their budding stage in their star career rather than the world-wide fame of Avril gained throughout these years.

By the way, Avril's official page got a terrific music player of a number of her songs, enjoy~

Dreams of Venice

Believe it or not, I really miss Venice so much. Recently, my friend called me late at night when I fell asleep soundly. I picked up the phone and just said, "I'm back in HK (from Venice)" while I was still dreaming of the wonderful colourful Venice.

Everytime I viewed the photos taken in Venice, it's so real that I can smell the air of Venice...

Party (yes, again) after our art trip in Europe

My painting friends were back to HK after their exciting trip in Kassel, Venice, London and Paris. You know what London and Paris mean to me! The British Museum, Tate Gallery, Centre Pompidou and Monet Garden, I am rather envy of their trip, being able to travel to these wonderful Museums and places.

Well, they still put blame on me as I told them Kassel was really hot when I was over there, and then they suffered from a sudden temperature drop to 10 degree Celsius. They called me from Frankfurt after getting back from Kassel by train while I was in Guizhou (I really wonder how much this call was...) and told me that each of them bought a really decent and nice coat in Kassel at €99+! And after getting back to Frankfurt, they wore their warm coat in cafe while watching cute German girls stroll around the cities in their haternecks, slipdresses and mini-skirts.

Gaylord was very excited in trip, though actually some of us kept worrying about the influence of hot weather on him. Just like what he said, we are rather full after this trip, after viewing so many stimulating and even encouraging artworks.

Thanks to Emil, she organised all the trip for us, yes, including me, as she introduced the very helpful travel agency Mabel to me. That's why Emil received the latest MS-Paint artwork by Gaylord in the last Saturday gathering.

Another happy news is that one of Josephine's students got an offer from Faculty of Architecture CUHK. For some very interesting reason, his mom sent a bottle of 21 years Glenfiddich (single malt whisky) to Gaylord! That's really terrific! This is my first whisky and may be the last, too, as it really tastes so great that I don't know if there is another whisky that can replace it. 12 years Glenfiddich is good on rock but 21 years version is better to be taken straight. That's really an enjoyable moment to have a glass of wine with friends.
