Indulgence on Saturday

Don't ask why, just indulge in things one enjoys.

DnM at The Grand Theatre

These kids have just finished the film "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" at The Grand Theatre in the morning of 19 April 2008. All of us occupied the whole film showing room. Great theatre but, well, I'm a bit barrier-free-minded, and sorry that, this theatre is not. But this won't affect the enjoyment of the film, still it's a great film, good enough for me to use whole bag of Tempo again.

Gathering with art teacher of my school day on April 19, 2008 under the influence of typhoon "Racoon"

Well, this is the first time I visited the studio of Mr Ma (馬桂棉老師/馬sir), my art teacher in MYC. It's a very impressive visit as there are so many books on large varieties of interest: Chinese literature, Chinese cultures, and Arts. Besides, Mr Ma is such a hardworking artist that he has published numbers of books on his own works as poetry, Chinese painting, and water colours painting. In between, he has been in so many beautiful places and back home with lots of wonderful photographs and ideas for new projects on works. I can hardly keep myself of not asking how he can spend his day in such a fruitful way.
Though Typhoon signal No.3 was hoisted and a number of bad weather alerts kept flashing, we had a very wonderful afternoon and got our great gift home happily! The latest collection (燃藜再集) of Mr Ma's watercolours on portraits, birds and natural scenes, which was printed in Beiing and weighs 5 kg in box set.

Something simple

In these crazily working days, I am touched when students drop in snacks like this.
