Cup of venti coffee
Ten years ago, I once visited the art exhibition of my friend in Prince Building, seeing a foreign guy holding a big cup of coffee at 17.45 heading to his work again. I told myself, what a coffee-addict he is. Now, I am a coffee-addict, too! A cup of coffee wakes me up in the afternoon, or after lunch. I am glad that I can enjoy this venti latte with a free am post in a leisure afternoon. Perhaps, life can be somewhat likes this.

Gifts I received today
Scarf~ A long and a short, a striped and a plain black, one from commercial and one hand-made. I am moved by both!
Thanks to my colleagues and my ex-2E, especially Grace, Rise, and others~
Don't forget, I've sent a gift to my dearest colleague, too!
Mind it, it's designed by studio Tord Boontje, a very trendy artist/designer for the moment!

We are the Champion
MV: WE WILL ROCK YOU + WE ARE THE CHAMPION
WE ARE THE CHAMPION
I've paid my dues
Time after time
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
and I've had my share of sand
Kicked in my face
But I've come through
And I need to go on and on and on and on
We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fightin' till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world
I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You've brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it
I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses no pleasure cruise
and I consider it a challenge before all human race
That I'll never lose
And I need to go on and on and on and on
We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fightin' till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world
We are the champions - my friends
And We'll keep on fightin' till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions

Sandy Lam in concert 2007
As her die-hard fans for years, bought ticket at once even though no friend is available to join me tonight. This concert is quite different from her past concerts, away from HK Stadium but taken place at HITEC, no guest singers, produced by a team consisting a number of Japanese musicians, great musicians on percussions, Angelita Li and Patrick Lui as the vocal, etc. I like this concert more than her last two, more blues and her best works in new arrangement. Most impressive ones are 哭 and 願, with pipa, erhu and violin, giving a new taste in the music. Songs chosen are widely spread from her earliest album to latest, not much works by her ex-husband, Jonathan Lee, well, it's understandable. More songs selected from her 都市觸覺 series, which are still her most famous works. Before the break, two and the only two exciting songs 逃離鋼筋森林 and 芝加哥的故事 brought the atmosphere to highest. Afterwards, the songs are more sentimental and touching. I was very moved on her songs in the second half of her concert. Sandy played on the keyboard for few songs! One more credit should be given to the multimedia effect on the stage, light and stage design are minimal in style, good combination with Sandy's low profile image. Glad to have such an unforgettable concert!

Yayoi Kusama in HK
Yayoi Kusama (草間彌生), a very famous Japanese artist who has a special keen in pumpkin. However, the curators of this show seems define this artist as a pumpkin-artist so as to be one of the programme for the upcoming Halloween. How can the HK people treat Yayoi Kusama as a common artist? Look for her details!

Gathering with art teacher of my school day on October 5, 2007
This is a very interesting vegetarian restaurant in Happy Valley, introduced by Mr Ma K.M, my art teacher in the secondary school. He is retired and works as a consultant of a publisher. He had regular gathering with our schoolmates and this is the first time I joined them, very happy and warm indeed.
