Juxtaposition 2008 - Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) of RMIT Graduation Show
RMIT with Hong Kong Arts School always has the BA(Fine Arts) Graduation Show in summer, and it is earlier in this summer. The exhibition started on 13 May. It was not only an opening night for RMIT graduates of this year but also a gathering of numbers of their graduates. I am not any of them but know a few of them, and was glad to chat with these friends with a cup of beer, yes, red wine went off and replaced by beer (well...). Works are lovely, but the one I like most is an installation made by a girl from Macau with Portugual background, showing a slight trace of exotic smell from this booming city, and one can only view this work on site to get the most out of it.

Funny snapshots in this cold holiday
I met Gaylord's "Swift and Safe" again in Central MTR, yeah, I was not in the museum.
At the end of each Chinese New Year, this store is always crowded with people, doing their shopping for traditional snacks for the festival.
It was really weired to find nobody in this X-box on the move, just because every body was busy preparing for the New Year. Who cares about the box?

First visit to the new Central Star Ferry Pier
The New
The new one has already been in use for months and nearly a year. But this was the first time I visited it, as it is now "far away" from its original position, and sitting next to the outlying island ferry piers. Good news is it takes even shorter time to travel between Tsim Sha Tsui Pier and Central Pier and the bad news is, Victoria Harbour is getting narrower. Even worse, this new Central Pier only makes me feel really like in the Eastern Hollywood, bringing me back to 1920s, or in the film shooting areas of Shaw's brother (邵氏片場). Faked and vague.
The Old

Thanks to people in HK, they kept the old image of Star Ferry Cental Pier. And now, it's only in our memory...
